Hey guys I could really use some help. I have Minecraft on my 1gb RAM computer. Lol I know its little but it seriously used to work so nicely. Java would only take up 300k CPU when I checked in Task Manager and now it takes up 500k. At first I found the problem it was because I had Java 6 and Java 7 installed so I believe it was running both at the same time and causing issues. So I uninstalled Java 6 and it worked fine for a day or so. Now it is doing the same thing again. I used to get about 24 FPS and now I get like 1-6 FPS. Its very hard to even play the game. Its hard to even chat! The only mod I have is Optifine which to help me out. And it still doesn't as much even with max settings. Hopefully this is the right place for this question on to how to fix it because if not I apologize.
SinglePlayer now has an internal server, which means it's more CPU-Intensive.
Multiplayer. Single player isn't as bad. But I mean its just overall. I think Java is the main problem not Minecraft. I just see it spike so high when I play Minecraft. So I mean it could be both. But I think Java is the overall problem and I can't find anything online on how to fix it. =(
