Ok, so this is not my first time playing Minecraft, first of all, so I know what I'm doing.
My main computer has malfunctioned, so I dug up an old laptop and updated the software and drivers on it. I tried to install Minecraft on it, but every time I log in, it crashes within seconds and creates an error log on my desktop. Here is one of the logs:
I'm 99% certain I installed the right drivers. I went through the setup from GateWay's website to install the drivers for my graphics card. I installed Java a few days ago, so that's not the issue. I'll try installing every driver for my laptop. I only installed the graphics card drivers, so that might be the issue.
Also, Windows Update has been nonstop updating for days. I install a new update, then more pop up. I've had to install over 70 updates.
I've installed the graphics drivers. Windows update has downloaded well over 200 updates, including the 2 Vista service packs. MInecraft still isn't working. It just creates an error log on the desktop every time. I don't know what to do...
