Minecraft is crashing for unknown reasons. I have everything updated, my video card, my Java, and Minecraft itself. Although everytime I try to log on, minecraft acts like it will load, but evidentally, closes and gives me this error:

This has nothing to do with the error. All that means is that it couldn't output portions of the error.

No what the problem really is. You are using an intel graphics chip on windows 8. To my knowledge intel has yet to release windows 8 drivers for any of their graphics cards/chips.
The drivers from windows update, don't include the required opengl support to play minecraft.
You have a few options.
Install an older version of windows (One that intel supports for your graphics)
Wait for intel to maybe release drivers for your graphics on Win 8 (based on your cpu that is unlikely tho)
Install a dedicated graphics card that has windows 8 drivers

Retired StaffThis has nothing to do with the error. All that means is that it couldn't output portions of the error.
No what the problem really is. You are using an intel graphics chip on windows 8. To my knowledge intel has yet to release windows 8 drivers for any of their graphics cards/chips.
The drivers from windows update, don't include the required opengl support to play minecraft.
You have a few options.
Install an older version of windows (One that intel supports for your graphics)
Wait for intel to maybe release drivers for your graphics on Win 8 (based on your cpu that is unlikely tho)
Install a dedicated graphics card that has windows 8 drivers
Try linux (but don't ask me for help on this)
