Changing texture packs outside the client

I have installed a texture pack that crashes before it can get to the menu, so how do I change it outside the client?

(Next time I need to get a new computer with more RAM :angry:)

Delete the options.txt file in the .minecraft folder.

Or just delete the texture pack .rar in the texture pack folder
