I have a friend who is having trouble with minecraft. we have tried to think of everything we can do; reinstalling minecraft after deleting the entire .minecraft folder, reinstalling Java, just deleting the bin folder and opening minecraft, reinstalling Mcpatcher. he still gets a black screen when he logs in. please help with this situation.

We'd need an error log to help. Try running the error logging script from this thread.
