Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my accout from a cracked version to a premium account I love the game to much to not toss in my share. I'm just worried about looseing the files i have already saved! Is there anyway to save them elsewhere or when I upgrade will it automaticly have them on there?

Yeah, go to %appdata% (Application support on macs), and then go to minecraft>saves. Take your world out of the saves folder and put it on your desktop. After you get the game do the same thing and then put the map back into the folder.
Upgrading to premium is a server thing. You will be able to log on; your saves and texture packs and options should not be modified. Be careful when backing up; you may accidently delete your save!

Retired StaffYou can open this folder easily by pressing the Windows key and R. Then type "%APPDATA%\.minecraft"
You can then copy the saves folder to your desktop, etc.
It should not hurt your files to get a premium account.
