I tried to add some mods into Minecraft tonight and it kept crashing, so I updated my game and it was still crashing. So I backed up my saves and texturepacks and deleted .minecraft and when I went to update it said in white writing (Not Downloaded). Then I logged into minecraft.net and downloaded minecraft.exe again then tried updating and it still said the same thing (Not Downloaded). I am now extremely frustrated because, all I wanted was to add the Timber mod into my game so cutting down trees wasn't such a grind and now I can't play Minecraft at all! -__-

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Try force updating (below the login button it has an options button, click that then click force update).

Still having the same problem and I am %100 connected to the internet! It won't log me in or update my game :C

So I got Minecraft to run by downloading a .minecraft folder for 1.0.0, but it still won't let me sign in or update :/
