nickel, whatever the glitch is is likely to related to a previous map on your computer, hence we won't get the glitch.

oh... well ill post screenshots soon for you guys. what happened was the biomes didn't even out and one biome was about 40 blocks above the other.

Yea, that is a common glitch when you get "overlapping" maps. Basically at some point something in your file that should have been deleted when a save was deleted wasn't, and ended up inside that map when you generated it.
