Ok, so I have tried everything. I even have my difficulty on hard. When I have the egg to spawn anything from a zombie to a villager, I right click, left click, everything I can think of and nothing happens at all. The egg doesn't even get thrown, much less spawn a mob. Anyone know what the heck is wrong??

Did you aim the Cursor at the ground and Right Click? Spawn Eggs don't get thrown when you spawn an Entity.
Survival Mode, Creative Mode, Adventure Mode, Right click a spawn egg at the ground near you and it works.
Either you have a mod that prevents this from working, or you are doing it wrong, or you have a version of minecraft pre-spawn eggs (there was a version where they existed but didn't spawn things), or you are on a server that has spawning disabled or otherwise under a permissions regime, or ??
I have the same problem on my own server and I'm certain it has nothing to do with permissions or mods. It will be working one moment and stop the next and it's becoming pretty frustrating :C

Not being an ass, but as I have said, I have tried everything. Aimed it at the ground, aimed it at water. Heck, I even aimed it at a mob.
