Hello,
I got a new laptop recently, here are the System Specifications:
Toshiba Satellite L745-SP130
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Intel Core i3 Processor @ 2.30 GHz
4GB of Ram
580gb HDD
At first minecraft ran at 40-60 fps, nice and smooth.
But now its like 15-25 fps?
I have the latest graphics drivers according to Drivermax.
What can I do?
Can I never play minecraft again on this laptop?
I use Optifine Ultra. Should I use Standard?
It's the RAM. I have four gigabytes of RAM, and Minecraft is running 10-15 frames per second, but I'm still good, unless I'm in the jungle biome or the snow biome. Is Minecraft running good (with only a hint of lag) except for the jungle or snow biome?

Yeah jungle and snow biomes lag the most for me.
Does anyone know if Minecraft 1.4 will get any performance enhancements?

You can have all the RAM in the world, but MC isn't smart enough to use it. (There's a hardcoded limit.) You have to force it.
