I haved recently some problems with my minecraft recently, it wont join any multiplayer server for some reason, so I deleted it with the idea of reinstaling it later, but everytime I try to dowload (even from the official links) it, it only downloads 145 KB of info out of 270 KB I dont know why. I open the ZIP archive and it shows the minecraft icon and im able to install it, but it wont open because it says its broken. I even tried dowloading the windows version but it also fails to download properly (Im on a mac). So i dont know what to do. My internet seems fine and all my downloads works fine except minecraft. I dont know what to do.
I figured it out: if you have windows, hit the start menu, in the search bar at the bottom type:
%appdata%
click on minecraft, and delete the bin folder
restart minecraft
log in
it should automaticly update.
