I have an extreme lagging issue with my Minecraft and it's really starting to **** me off. I've probably watched 8 hours of solution videos on YouTube and none of them have worked. I want to make myself clear. I DO NOT WANT ANY MODS ON MY MINECRAFT.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1. I have Minecraft 1.3.2 (12w26a) with 6GB of RAM and a 64 bit Java script. Please, if anyone has a solution to this, please email me at [email protected] with subject "Here's a way to stop your Minecraft from lagging" so I know it's a forum user.

I for one don't use mods because I like to use the weekly snapshots. Likewise, I like the feel of vanilla. That said, a built-in OptoFine would make my life infinitely easier.

I'm thinking of making an ultra modpack. Mods that don't actually alter gameplay but just make the game better. I'll get back to you.
You've got an integrated graphics card. There's no way that you're going to get a good FPS.
Installing Optifine (only available for full releases) would tone down the lag, but you're never going to overcome it.
It was running smooth about two weeks ago, and then it just started lagging out of midair. I do have the latest Java 64-bit update.
And get this. Most of my lagging is when I'm not looking 90deg up or down. When I look directly upwards, sometimes my FPS will increase by 30, and sometimes it won't. It's the same deal for looking downwards. It will also lag when I come close to NPC Villages, Jungle Biomes, Tundra Biomes, and just trees in particular.

thats because nothing is loaded (well sort of) does that to my pc too, just not a massive drop, only like 5 fps
I'm 13 and only have $31. You think I can afford a new desktop?
ok and? i was 14 when i got my new desktop, there is this magical thing called saving money and not burning a hole in your pocket and looking for work (not like walmart work but like mowing laws) age is but a number, its no excuse

It's part of the newer updates - they're more graphically intensive and run more calculations.
I'm 15 and have built essentially two of my own desktop computers - age is a number, it doesn't mean much.

1. Done it like a thousand times before and nothing's ever happened
2. I don't know what you mean
3. I like normal Minecraft the way it is.

Retired Staff1. As long as you don't link it, it should be fine.
2. Render distance to tiny, fast graphics, etc.
3. I think he meant as in mods for Optifine, etc.

Sorry, I don't speak nerd
Anyway, can you tell me how to find that stuff, then I can help you.
What's Optifine? Also, has anyone tried changing the Maxfps setting in the options.txt? It keeps resetting itself whenever I change it.
