So I recently quit Minecraft, and I thought I'd come back and get into it again.
I downloaded the .exe off the www.minecraft.net website, and followed the instructions given, yet when I logged in, and accepted the Update request, it moves a little way up the bar, and stops.
All it says is 'Downloading Packages'.
I've put it up in the morning, went to school, and 7 hours later nothing had changed. It was the same as when I started the process in the morning.
I went to my %appdata%/Roaming and there was no .Minecraft
It won't download the .Minecraft so I'm stuck, I don't know what to do.
