I been reading on most of the posts and I do not know if most of them helps me or not but. I do have a somewhat same problem with them. Some reason I the servers on my list are having not connections and give me this long logging in if a try to go connect it and give this error
internal exception: java.net.sockettimeoutexception: timeout.
I check on server website and it says online so i don't know why it doing that to me. Also i have Mod launcher that's doing same thing but its different but i don't know if i should post it on here.

P.S. Sorry about mys grammar or something about i wrote down it might be bad.

I forgot to add this this started to happen a day ago (yesterday be sure 08/18/12)

I solved it was java some unknown reason it was having problems with the java 7 update 7 i think.

P.S.S how to put this in solved well most unlikely will people other then downgrade java to who knows.

I would disable your firewall and if that doesn't work I would just log off and connect again in a couple of hours.

didn't you read my edit on post i forgot 2 add it happen yesterday well any case might well give it try. but there any other info you want put up other then that

I tried restarting my comp its still the same. Same goes the mod launcher but this is not for that type of post support.
