Whenever I boot up Minecraft via the Desktop, I get two errors;
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
I don't know what caused these but here are the troubleshooting steps I took:
1.) Uninstalled Minecraft and Java 32-bit for my computer
2.) Reinstalled
3.) Repeated
4.) Used the batch file technique
5.) Tried loading it with compatibility with Windows 2000
None of these worked.
My computer is a;
Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Computer:
AMD Athlon[tm] II X2 250
Processor
3.01 GHz, 1.75 GB of RAM
My computer worked fine with Minecraft for the past year-and-a-half. I do not know why I cannot play it all of a sudden. Thanks for helping!
