Whenever i try to join a mp server, it just says polling endlessly. When i clikc on it the game crashes and it says Java Binary is not responding. i tried redownloading it many times, restoring previous versions, etc., and it still doesn't work. Have any suggestions?

first are you running windows 7, and or a 64-bit OS? if so MC needs 64-bit java to run, u can't download the 64-bit version Java threw any 32 bit browser since jave selects the ver for you, based on the browser
So, go to the Start menu, select 'all programs', open "Internet Explorer (64-BIT)" go to Java and download it again. You will have the 64-bit java version.
