when I join a server or try to join a server it gives me an error and I can't even log in with the minecraft client. it will not let me it says 'can't connect to minecraft.net' and then I client play offline and it crashes my client when I try and join a server.

I know I wouldn't be able to play any server unless it was cracked and I have already force updated. and I believe they are already disabled and it has been about 6 hours since I was last able to play so I don't understand why it isn't working.

Then delete your bin folder first in your .minecraft folder. (if you don't know how, you go to the start menu, type in %appdata%, hit the roaming folder, and .minecraft should be there) REMEMBER: Do not delete your .minecraft folder, delete the bin folder that is inside your .minecraft folder. After you've deleted the bin folder, try another Force Update.
