Ive been playing mc for a long time no and in the last 3 month i have not been able to long into a multiplayer server, yes i have internet. I can log on to my buddies account perfectly fine and go into any multiplayer server. i tried to reinstall minecraft and yes all my drivers are up to date its something with my account idk what it is. anyone know
it doesnt give me a error message at all all it does is show red x on all the servers i know ther all correct it works perfectly fine when i log onto my freinds account
1. You have a cracked copy of the game
2. You are playing offline
3. Servers aren't up
4. You have a port opening problem
There can be more but I don't remember.
1. That's not the problem, cracked accs can still see server statuses

So at this moment, i think 2 is possible, but did you try a FULL reinstall? (delete ALL minecraft files except saves then reinstall minecraft?)
