I've been having a hard time getting my minecraft running after receiving the crash report.
What happens is that I am able to login, and can choose to play either a new or existing single player world and it stops loading and issues the crash report.
I have since uninstalled and reinstalled Java at the request of another user. I have also forced update of minecraft, and also have removed the bin folder and downloaded a fresh copy for installation. My game does not have any mods.
Here is the crash report ... any help in resolving this crash would be helpful.

I can fill you in on the video controller. Here is what my Nvidia control panel says for the video card:
Quadro NVS 110M
Forceware version: 175.97
Total Available Graphics Memory: 256MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 64MB
System Video Memory: 192MB
Shared System Memory: 0MB
Video BIOS version: 5.72.22.fc
IRQ: 16
Bus: PCI Express x16
I'm using a Dell Latitude D620 with 4MB RAM, T7200 2.0ghz duo core processor.
I know this only gives a little information and that the advanced error script seems to give a lot more information, but for some reason it didn't give all the information as what was in some of the examples. I hope this still helps.

Is normally related to a problem in java or one of the class files it's trying to run, both of which you should have fixed with the things you have tried already.
It'll download a fresh copy of minecraft into a different location, lets see if you can run it that way.
There are some videos in that thread that explain how to use it if you need help figuring it out.
tedster, you've busted me on my typo ... the correct amount is 4GB.
My minecraft is not modded.
I've already forced update. The only thing I haven't done is completely remove minecraft (with the exception of my saved worlds) and start over. Looks like I'm getting closer to doing that.
I can post the dxdiag report if you wish, but it is very long. One thing I did notice in that report that the machine is running DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) I don't know if this is the most current or even relates to something that minecraft uses.
I purchased minecraft about a month ago for my son. We have not been able to get it to work since day one. Can anyone help me get this working for him? I am getting the same crash report....I have uninstalled both minecraft and java several times and still keep getting the same crash report. Is there a phone number I can call and actually speak to someone? I really want to get this working for him........

Try using multimc: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1000645-multimc-41-windows-linux-mac/
