Minecraft Forums

I was just showing my friend Minecraft, everything's all normal. Then, he calls me over and shows me a graphical bug. I've seen the same bug before, but only with a beta version of the Portal Gun Mod. Then Minecraft crashed and left an error report on my desktop. This has happened 4 times without warning. Can anyone help? (I have no mods installed.)

Re download minecraft and update your Java to 7. Then tell us what happens!

I don't have it installed in this .minecraft folder, and it was only with the Minecraft 1.1 version of it anyway.

I think you may be right. I tried playing Portal 2 (the actual game on Steam) and it said that my driver card needed to be updated. I'll try doing that and updating java. (I'm not an administrator so I can only do it when someone who is is around.)
