I'm just trying to allocate more RAM to java so my minecraft runs a little smoother. I have done this on my desktop but for some reason when i try it on my laptop it just wont work. If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong I would be thankful.
I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 on 4Gb of RAM. If you need any more info just ask.
Also, try setting more RAM through the control panel, it will be easier and you wont have to have an extra icon on your desktop! Just ask if you need help doing this.
