So apparently, having a PAID for minecraft account does not "save" anything. It's all for one computer one username under that computer.
Ok so, I've been playing minecraft for maybe a year or two now and built some amazing things -imo- for months now on my username of three other usernames under ONE computer.
Well I wasn't logged into my username on the computer and pulled minecraft up so go mess around in single player building my theme park.
But wait! My single player and multiplayer list are GONE....
So basically I paid $26's for a game to "save" everything I made to go and sign in on another computer to have all my crap gone...months works just gone...
Now I don't know about everyone else but...when you pay for a game and have a username and password wouldn't you think that they'd save all your creations under THAT username not to THAT computer username. Personally Minecraft is the FIRST game I ever stumbled upon that you pay for a username but it doesn't let you keep your items.
So if I had a virus and I needed re-install everything and I've been on minecraft for three years all that work is gone because minecraft doesn't save your work to that username.
That's kinda of a rip off to your players, I'm sure a bunch of other players agree that if your progress and your creation just goes bye bye because it doesn't save the stuff to your account is a rip off/scam.
I've even searched my files under MY log in on the computer to see if I can copy my servers to upload them to my other computer...Nope..nothing.
Yeah this could be stated as a rant but I want to know why minecraft doesn't save your information to that username...I'll understand why it didn't do it for Multiplay server lists but for Single Player??? WHY...
The save files are saved locally on your computer. You can easily save them to disk and move them to a second computer if you wish. But no, your single player worlds are not saved online.

And where do I find those files because I searched and couldn't find a single thing about the servers

Retired StaffBut the single player worlds would be located in the .minecraft folder
Start -> Run -> type %appdata%/.minecraft
open the "saves" folder.
Or just copy the entire saves folder to a flash drive
Multiplayer servers I'll just write the one thing down and just enter it in personally.
