I have started to playing minecraft on my laptop and everytime i play its got alot of frame rate issues and after 3 minutes or so it keeps saying you have run out of virtual memory (Presumely this is to do with Java) so i have being reading about trying to sort it and noticed, preferably should be running on 64bit version of java, which i have downloaded and it seems to be alot more smoother.
I just wanted to ask should minecraft run perfectly on these specs
I got
6GB Ram, i3 Intel processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000 with up to 1760mb dynamic video memory
Thank You, i have installed this and changed some of the settings, that im not really fussed about like far rendering and lighting and it is alot more smoother its playable. I have added a texture pack called Nisa and still runs quite good. I think it will be ok as long as i dont add mods or high detail texture packs, i tried lb photo realism and that just crashed it all together would not start.
It might not help, but try gamebooster. It "pauses" programs running in the background that aren't necessary to keep your computer running. This allows for more RAM and takes some of the load off your processor. I personally barely use it, but that combined with optifine may reduce the lag a lot.
