I am currently trying to install aether mod for my minecraft. But my computer has a problem where whenever i try to run minecraft that is a version below 1.3.1, It crashes my whole PC to a bluescreen and i have to restart my whole pc. I want to be able to play older versions of minecraft. I have a windows 7 64 bit operating system. Can i please get help?
If you get the blue screen again , try to write down the error code like the 0x0000f0egr , 0x044 something like that
and post it here, and i guess minecraft is not doing that. that must be a problem with your computer
It's been a long time since I had something like that happen on an old Windows XP laptop. Trying to load a game would cause my laptop to crash and bluescreen. In my case I found out the problem was one of my drivers needed to be updated.
Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card? Does your PC run a wired or wireless internet connection? If it runs a wireless connection you can try updating the drivers for your wireless card as well. It was rather odd, but the wireless card driver was what was causing my old laptop to crash.
try running a piece of software that is memory intensive and see if that crashes your system too.
it maybe one of your ram modules has a fault but it isn't coming up untill the memory address is used, which just so happens to be when minecraft runs
