MSI afterburner is a very good free program. (Some people have had trouble installing it without an MSI mainboard or video card, but it's worked for me) http://event.msi.com...er/download.htm
That will help narrow down if it's a fraps problem, or something else.

I've tried with different programs, Dxtory HyperCam and camtasia, don't think thats the problem... But i'll try
I forgot when I posted earlier, afterburner only works with 32 bit java. So long ago I set up the link to run MC with 32 bit when I record it slipped my mind.
I did download the latest fraps now that I got home again, and was recording at 60 fps with out issue. I notice the copyright on your fraps is 2011, is it possible it's a bug in the version you have? Try updating to a newer version.
I would think that you don't have enough RAM, but you do. I have trouble recording but it's cuz I have only 2 gb of RAM and only 1 is usable for some reason.Do you record on FlatLand or on regular terrain? If you record on regular terrain, your computer may be like mine where your fps goes way up on FlatLand. If not, then I have no idea.
