Hey there! I got some problem while playing Minecraft. The problem is: every 5-10 minutes I got my computer crashed while playing Minecraft. After it's first crash, It always happen every time I play minecraft and a BSOD shows up (Blue Screen of Death) with this error code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
My Specs are:
Windows 8 pro (activated)
Intel Core 2 Duo [email protected] 2Ghz
2 gigs of ram
Intel GMA 4500MHD (768MB Shared Memory)
I'm using custom Intel GMA drivers to make minecraft work on windows 8 (intel discountinued making drivers for intel GMA so I used custom drivers for windows 8)
please guys if you have any idea on how to fix this problem, please send a reply and if you have any custom drivers for windows 8 (Intel GMA 4500MHD drivers), please reply a link here.
Hey! You should buy your new laptop/PCs with AMD Radeon HD or nVIDIA GeForce, or other new nVIDIA GPUs, Then install drivers, It should works correctly now; Because You are using custom drivers.

but i'm not having problems with the custom driver when I was using Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Release Preview. When I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro, this happends....
If you are getting a full system BSOD and not just a Minecraft crash, then the system RAM or hardware are likely the culprits. It's not overheating, you say, so that's not it.
Now I'm thinking maybe a RAM failure. Try a memory test?
I'm betting that if you ran any other programs as CPU / RAM intensive as MC, you'd have the same problem. But most apps are NOT as intensive as MC, so you're not encountering it.
Also, make sure your Java matches your system (32 vs 64 bit.)

It's probably about time for you to get a new PC. The hardware may not be able to handle it anymore.
