I'm running Mac OS X 10.6. I went to play with the default textures just for the heck of it and found out that it doesn't want to work right. I click on the Default Textures option, and when I hop into a world, all of the textures that would be from the terrain.png file are still my 32x Dokucraft mix pack. I've deleted the bin folder several times (and kept it vanilla, no hd patcher), turned off the server textures option, tried making new maps, completely removed my entire texture pack folder, re-downloaded the launcher, restarted the computer. I even opened up the minecraft.jar and checked the terrain.png file. Where are these freaking textures coming from?!
*bump* Anyone? I've deleted my entire minecraft folder at this point. Still isn't working. Yes, I updated Java. No the snapshots don't fix it either.
EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it. It was pulling the textures from a terrain.png file I had sitting on my Desktop because I was editing it. Why in the heck was it pulling textures from a file that wasn't in the minecraft.jar or the texture pack folder? JEB!
Just tried that. Still didn't fix it.
