I started making an adventure map recently, and there is a bug that is really annoying me.
There is a lighting bug that actually effects the way the map works. It makes some blocks emit light from itself, even if it isn't a typical light emitting block. This is bad because I need spawners to spawn mobs, but the random light blocks are making that impossible. Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but during the day, the blocks look like a normal block on the surface during the day, and at night they look like a normal block on the surface during the night. This is even weirder considering these blocks are ~100 blocks underground.
It would be much appreciated if anyone has a solution! Thanks!

This is a well known bug. Mushrooms, Roses, Yellow Flowers, Locked Chests, Spawners, and other stuff emit light when they aren't supposed to. Does it ONLY do it at night?
During the day, the blocks with the bug seem to have sunlight shining on them, and at night moonlight. The sunlight/moonlight also spreads to other blocks as if it were a torch/piece of glowstone. Most of the blocks with this bug are stone. Its also like the blocks are transparent with the light flowing through them. Its rather confusing >.<
Hmmm, it seems it has something to do with McEdit , the lighting glitch is only happening in areas I generated by using it >.<
Oh well, I guess this thread is pointless now

McEdit? I didn't know McEdit could do that! Did you mess with any filters?
No, I didn't. That's the funny thing about it. I never used any filters, brushes, or anything else. All I did was use it create a huge area of stone, and I'm using WorldEdit for the rest. I tried uninstalling my mods, reloading my minecraft, putting the map on another computer, making copies of the map, and everything I did did nothing. And, it wasn't anything with the world because any natural chunks generated did not have glitchy lighting. I restarted making the map yesterday, this time just by using a world that someone made that was completely stone. So far no problems.
