It crashed at the sight of 1.3.2...

You may have to update your video card drivers. Its pretty simple but hard to explain. You can look it up and google and that should help you

I can usually tell from these error reports. As long as it doesn't do this again you can probably just play like normal.

This appears to be a crash in the FontRenderer

Are you sure you are using the default texture pack?
Do you have any weird font thing going on with your desktop or theme?

well, i did try downloading a texture pack but i didn't use it....

could that be it?

Dunno. Maybe if the pack is in the texture pack folder, even if it isn't being used, MC opens it up.
Well actually I know it must, at least when you are on that TP screen, because it shows you information about the packs.
Clear out your texture pack folder.
