I have run into some bug or something that causes strange hitboxes like lines on certain items. This happens on Tekkit, Technic, and Vanilla Minecraft, with different texture packs. I have tried re installing Tekkit, re-patching it with MCPatcher, re-downloading the texture pack, restarting my computer, and obviously restarting Minecraft I have no Idea how to fix it, or what caused it.
I'm going to give a short story on things that have some probability of effecting it.
I started getting the lag spikes of death when I was recording an episode of my let's play on Vanilla, so I set my video card to performance over quality. I played Minecraft again, with no issues, except a little bit of lag. Then I switched over to Tekkit, and still no problems. I exited like normal and put my computer into sleep mode to go get some food. Started up the computer, and had the texture problem. Shortly after I put my video card back on quality, and the issue persisted. That is all I can think of that might effect this.
You can see the x above the flowers, and the lines around the torch in my hand, and in the distance, you can tell there is lines on the hitbox of the grass.
I have that same ISSUe!! even with the latest update of 1.4.6 it still looks like this! It has really started to bother me and distract me from my builds. sorry I cant help, but it is nice to know tha im not the only one with this issue.
I fixed it, First I changed my 3D settings on my video card, and thats where it starded, but now I changed it back to default, and the problem is gone. So thats how I fixed it, if you guys still did'nt fix this problem, than maybe this will work
