Hello. I am having trouble with Minecraft lagging in the 1.3 update. I am able to play Minecraft running smoothly at about 40 FPS. However, after around 7-10 minutes the game starts lagging, with a maximum of at least 20 FPS. Also, I have Optifine Ultra version installed, but it only builds up a few more FPS and does not solve the lag problem and play with low settings like fast and short render distance.
It might be a problem with the 1.3 update as playing in 1.2.5 ran at more than 40 FPS at the highest settings, and did not start lagging after a while. I have tested it by downgrading to 1.2.5, and everything is fine, no frame rate problems.
What might be the problem
Here are my specs if needed:
Intel core i3 processor 2.53 GHz
4GB ram
64-bit Windows home premium, and 64-bit java installed too
