The new snapshot with controllable pigs just came out, and when I tried to make a carrot on a stick, it crafts it but won't let me take it out of the crafting box. Every time I move it it just snaps back to the crafting box.
Are you playing on a server?(is a question)
if you're not probably a bug with the snapshot backup your world and redownload the snapshot again and see if it works
This is not a Java , LWJGL , Memory related problem.
this is a Version and/or snapshot problem. so you don't need to update or redownload or delete any java, LWJGL program.

Yeah im playing on my friend's server. I tested it in singleplayer and it works fine. It must be a problem with the server.
