I start a lan for me and my dad to play. I use my pc for it.
We are playing then all of a sudden "WILD LAGG APPEARS!"
It's like multiplayer connection lagg, you are moving along and everything freezes for a few seconds. Then it all catches up, you are rubber banded and certian actions like hitting mobs finaly catch up.
Why it this happening on my pc? It stands for 3~5 seconds on my pc. I don't have any amount of countries between my pc and my pc. It makes absolutely no sense......
Could some computer wizard come along and solve my problem
Are you hosting the world on an older pc/pc with bad specs? If so, this could be why.
I tried to host a simple map with a buddy of mine across the country once. Since I only have about 2gb of RAM on my entire pc, we encountered immense lag. Now while this was with a server jar, I imagine the same might apply to a single player LAN server, since it still has to share all this information with another computer, instead of just your own.
This is just a guess I have. Someone else may be more knowledgeable than I.

Well I did get wierd stuttering that didn't seem to have any fps effect when he went off a bit from where I was.
My pc has 2.0ghz dual core. 8 gigs ram and a videocard... It's a good videocard tho. lol
I think it would be the processor.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Well that's stupid.
Now the only thing that slabs are useful for is decoration.
