I downloaded minecraft about a day or two before this crash and it crashed when I attempted to place in the faithful 32x32 texture pack. When I first attempted to use it, nothing seemed t change, despite my following the normal instructions for administering the pack to the game.
I have absolutely no mods whatsoever, nor have I downloaded any, and the texture pack is the only texture pack I have downloaded since downloading the game. I have attempted deleting and downloading the game multiple times, as well as trying to find all files related to the game itself using finder and "minecraft" as the keyword to search for any remaining files related, but even so, the outcome is the same.
So, after about a day I attempted again when I had already logged off, shut down the computer and rebooted, etc. Yet it still did not work, so after a bit of playing as normal, randomly playing with TNT as I normally do, the next day when I attempted to log in, it booted as normal up until the actual loading part of the game, where therein it crashes and gives me the following crash report, as shown below.
Minecraft has crashed!

I guess i'm not the most tech savvy around, but I know my way around the computer a bit.
Any help that I could get would be appreciated and i'll be looking forward to seeing if I can get any help resolving the issue at hand with minecraft.
I was looking forward to getting to play with some redstone technology, being a noob to the game as I am.
I'll be periodically checking in on this post to see what responses I get, sometimes I may be gone for a day or two, so please forgive me for any delays to your questions and or answers given, sometimes life drags me away from my computer.
And if I give anyone a hard time during our endeavors to create a solution to it, my sincerest apologies now, i'm not the best at maneuvering through my computer and it's endless scope of treacherous technology, but i'm willing to learn, so whatever you wish to convey to me, please try to do so reasonably.
Indeed, I tried both force update and without force updating and it gives me the same message. I've tried downloading the newest Java as of yesterday, but it didn't seem to take kindly to the idea of registering properly for me. I suppose i'll try again now.
I'm unable to even get to the menu screen, I simply attempt to log in, then it goes to a black screen as if loading, and after about 30 seconds it gives me the "minecraft has crashed" report. I'm unable to actually get to the title/menu screen where singleplayer, multiplayer and such is located.
