it depends on what java you are using a 32 bit or a 64 bit? you need to use the same as the computer if the computer is a 64 bit you need a 64 if the computer is 32 then you need 32
i think you got a problem installation, try deleting java. and install a fresh one
Well, you obviously know that the problem is Java, since thats when the problems started (when uninstalled and installed it again). Minecraft needs Java in order to run, so there not a work-around. Therefore, the only thing you can do is try to uninstall/install again. Also, make sure that you got the right bit (is you system 32bit or 64bit). If you have windows 7, go to start, right click computer, click properties, and under system look at system type. Make sure you download the right Java. Also, you can try to recover the old Java using Pandora Recovery. You can find the download on www.cnet.com.
It turns out that it worked.
When Infact I tried this last time and it did not work, but I can now play minecraft again so, hey, im not complaining.
Thank you for your contribution everyone. Means alot.
Launch4j
And it says:
The registry refers to a non existant java runtime enviroment installation or the runtime is corrupted.
The system path cannot be specified.
This happened after I uninstalled java 6 and 7 and re-installed java 7. For what reason, I cant remember.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
