I really don't know what is going on. This last update has been nothing but a giant problem. I can play online just fine, no problems there at all. But if I try to play my single player world things just go crazy. At first it would load the world but I would fall through the ground. All the npc's were still and wouldn't move and then it would freeze my entire computer and i'd have to restart completely.
Now it won't even do that. If I try to load my single player world it freezes at "downloading terrain". I have to close out minecraft through task manager.
Thing is one of my recent world's seems to load just fine so it might be a problem with the age of the world. It is a VERY old world, about two years and counting.
As far as my pc goes it's a very recent computer running win 7. It is a 64 bit machine and I only installed the 64 bit version of java.
This is all very frustrating. I just want things to go back to how they were before. Please help me before I actually have to go outside and do something.
