So, yesterday... after about 3 hours of more hard work on my best world, I was pretty happy. I had great builds, found multiple villages and other builds...diamonds, emeralds, etc.. Then.. it happened. I was looking thru my snapshots (which were bada**!!) and when i wanted to play my world.. it was gone..along witht he 13 others I had. So, why am I mad about thousands of hours of hard work, great finds, and awsome achievments????? Becuse I dont get paid to do this crap! Its a game and I realize that but come on! My backupfiles were no longer available! Hmmmmmm.. okay, I couldn't reconfigure to get the worlds back, no back up files were good. So, what happened Notch? Minecraft makers??? Any suggestions, ideas, or anything to make me feel better and make me want to still play the damnd game???? Hope someone knows how I can get all my work back. Thanks
If you're using Windows 7, try right-clicking on your minecraft folder and going to "restore previous versions". You might lose a couple of days worth of work, but it sounds like it would be worth it if you got your old stuff back.
Thanks everybody. Bez, I just tried that and it said no previous versions available. And I didn't update from a solid to a snapshot. That makes no sense, seriously. Im educated.... not on CRACK..lol..Also, there isn't a way to unistall my snapshot pics..just delete them, unless I unistall Minecraft off my PC all together, which I tried..and didnt work. Im just gonna chalk it up as a major loss and go on about it. Thanks everyone.
