I might be in the wrong forum section but i didnt know where to go so i came here. Basically I have been playing minecraft sp fine for the past year on my admin account on my mac computer but I want to play minecraft on another user (long story). When I try to play on that user it gives me this error message. also, this is the way minecraft looks when I open it (ill include pic when i get a chance like tommorow) its like all black instead of the usual brown (looks like dirt) but mine is black.

I wish I could play minecraft... I'm probably the only one in the forums who has bought the game but has never played it! STUPID MAC!
Well i would but first of all I cant. But anyway like I said. Minecraft does work but only in my admin/owner account for the computer but every other account is incapable.

It might be a permissions problem.
Check permissions for your /minecraft directory.
Click Go --> Go to folder
/Users/[YourAccountName]/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
Since its in your own library I don't know why permissions would be screwed up.
Right click the minecraft folder, and click show info.
Under "Sharing & Permissions:" look for your account name, it should be "Read & Write"
If not, make it so, and select "Apply to all subfolders"
-OR-
Open terminal and chown (with the recursive flag) the entire minecraft directory.. it does the same thing as above, or just recursively chmod 755 the entire minecraft directory.
