Yeah no you can't change the skin for just one computer, and you shouldn't be having a shared account in the first place, might want to get one for yourself.
I believe if you compress the skin file into a .rar like a texturepack and put it into the texturepack folder it will make the skin only for your local computer, or you could replace the default skin in the mobs folder in your minecraft.jar, but be sure to rename the custom skin file to the same name as the char file in the jar!
