I hope I have posted this in the right place and I also hope I get some help here....
My computer is an intense gaming machine, able to run the most graphically demanding games on the highest settings with the maximum fraps per second the game could shell out. Fraps records them with no issue whatsoever.
Then I get to minecraft.
It all goes well for a few moments, and I can leave it open without recording no problem. Then the FPS just starts dropping slowly until it crashes. Either that or it will crash and quit the moment I hit record on fraps. What's the deal?
I've tried different graphics settings.
I've tried running fraps and Minecraft on different cores.
I've tried setting affinities for both applications.
I've tried updating everything I own.
And include your system specs, any installed mods, any other programs running etc etc...
No mods installed. I've done it on a clean boot before with no other programs.
Specs:
Processor - Intel® Core™ i7-2700K Processor 4x 3.50GHz/8MB L3 Cache
Motherboard - ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
16 GB RAM DDR3-1600 Memory Module
Video Card - AMD Radeon HD 7850 - 2GB - CrossFire
1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s - Single Driver
Operating System - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Fraps has loop buffer and it works the best for me. I don't lag when using it and it can record both my voice on command and the game at all times, shows fps, and is just overall pretty darn good in my opinion,
