I tried to play this for the first time on pc, but it was so laggy that I couldn't. My specs are all good enough to where I should be able to run it, but like I said I can't. Here is the list of my Specs:
Lenovo Laptop
Intel core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.4GHz
6GB of RAM
64-bit operating system and I have Windows 7 http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/12/09/05/bah.png link to my GPU.
If anybody has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.
Intel's integrated graphics are not good for gaming. Try using the OptiFine mod. I use it on my laptop (also with integrate graphics) to help with lag, but it certainly doesn't completely eliminate it.
Integrated laptop GPU/onboard video cards aren't high enough power to run minecraft on anything other than the lower-end settings. Even then, with optifine and such, you need to monitor heating so it doesn't overheat. If its a more advanced laptop, It will prioritize keeping cool. Older laptops may put your work first and not monitor/control power to balance out over heating. So if it gets too hot, It may fry and/or have to lower your gaming power to cool down.
