this way worked on my friend,he got the nividia geforce 210,it costed him only 50 euros(it's not that powerful,but if you only play minecraft and like terraria it's good) and he used to have 7 fps on tiny render distance,with clouds off,no bobbing,and lowest brightness,and no smooth lightning,now he has 50 fps with far render,clouds on, boobing,and highest brightness,that's impressive for that price!
and try to avoid to update your drivers,because some built in graphics cards lose their ability to run minecraft,it well show the bad video card drivers.
