I finally found a nice server last night to play on. I was happy. All was good. I never used to have minecraft issues, but when I woke up this morning and tried to log on, It gives me an error that says "cannot connect to minecraft.net" then it gives me the option to try again or play offline.
When I click "play offline" and head to multiplayer, I can clearly see a connection to the other servers with a number stating how many people are on that server. (I can also play multiplayer games like starcraft 2, so I do have interwebs access.)
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling java. that didn't do anything. I tried turning off my firewall and turning off my antivirus (avast) but that didn't work.
I tried to go on multiple browsers to log in from the minecraft.net website, but the update would always freeze before completing. The same issue on explorer and chrome.
I tried my client on my crappy laptop, but it says I cannot connect to minecraft.net just like on my good pc.
I managed to get minecraft working in internet explorer's browser on my bad laptop, but the speed on that computer renders the game unplayable.
I've been at this for over an hour and a half trying to get on. please help. D:
Yay, just one of those day's where minecraft is acting strange again, so don't worry it should be up again. Also is you don't mind me asking what is the server, I have been looking for some good ones to join and try out. Have a nice day!
