Hello, my Minecraft client use to work good but now it has stopped?


Bad video card drivers!

Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

First things first. Install the latest video card driver but don't use windows update. Download it from the manufacturer. If that doesn't work it can mean that your old driver is still there, so you will have to delete it and re-install the new one. Another option is to disable Advanced OpenGl in the Minecraft video settings. If you can't open Minecraft then delete the options.txt file in the .minecraft folder.

I know my graphics card isn't out of date, but how do I disable Advanced OpenGL?

Im sorry im a noob at downloading and installing stuff, i have no idea what to do but if you can, can you provide a step-by-step tutorial please

You do not need advanced OpenGL, it is completely unnessesary. Id you are trying to give your Minecraft and FPS boost check out the Optifine mod.
