my computer seems to be running minecraft extremely slow, even with optifine installed and all lowest options enabled, when fighting mobs it goes way under 5 fps, my video card driver is ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500, and as for ram...

1.20 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
Yea, your computer is below the system requirements. 512MB of Ram is less than the basic givin without allocating more. (912MB). I think the only option is to get a new computer.

dissapointing but i do have a dual core cpu with 2.97 gb of ram, but due to yet another problem i cant play on any account other than administrator (FIRST account only, other administrators dont work), you might find that thread lurking around this same forum somewhere
