Hello, so, I was playing in a server a couple of hours ago (about 5 hours ago) I was playing with my custom skin, then I died, when I spawned again, my skin was gone, along with everyone else's ..
I could only see a bunch of Steves running around including myself ...
I tried restarting the game
I tried going on minecraft.net and change it and nothing
Tried updating the game (removing all mods, making a fresh MC) and nothing.
have changed the skin like 14 times now and NOTHING, so, any Ideas of what could be the problem ? .. and how to fix it...

the same hapenned to me

skin server is down. It's happening with everyone

Any idea of when the skin server will be back up? I really want to use my new skin.

Heh, sadly I do not work for mojang, so I don't know. At this point, I don't think anyone knows. Just wait a couple hours, it should be up by then.

Just figured I'd ask seeing as I'm not sure about how well they are with this certain server

Ahh, well at least it's not just me I guess.. On a related note, I wish it still showed what skin you had active on the page where you upload them!!

Guys, the skin server isn't down, it's just bugged, but there's a mod that can fix it called the Anti-Steve mod, check it out here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1449258-132-antisteve-10/

So now we need a mod for bugged servers too.....

Using Spoutcraft can also fix this.

Btw - Spout's been updated with a Dev build for 1.3.2 in case you're wondering!
