hi i played minecraft when it was still in beta but i never bought the game, and i am trying to tryout the free version right now before buying the game. Before i had installed toomanyitems mod, and i am currently trying to unistall the mod but cant find my minecraft folder in Library. . .could someone please help figure out how to find it and then how to unistall mod. . . .help would be great
i am not able to update because it can find my minecraft.jar folder. . .when i go to Library and application support i have no minecraft folder. . .so i assume i must have deleted it at some point. . .how would i fix that problem??? :/
But I don't think that this will help you.. you need to find the launcher, and most probably you need to download a newer one anyone.
It's available from the download page at minecraft.net and is free to download. The mac launcher is hidden behind the "show all" link.
Ive already downloaded a new laucher and the game and try to use the play offline option but it says "(Not Downloaded)" on the bar where play offline usually is. . . .
navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin, move or copy the prerelease minecraft.jarinto this folder, create a new folder 'natives' in /bin

Ah, you're looking for the demo.. You can either play the demo version at minecraft.net or you can follow these instructions:.
