Hi, I'm setting up duplicate client files on a number of PC's so we can continue to play modded 1.2.5 clients against our modded 1.2.5 server. We're using the standard windows launcher (minecraft.exe) against a separate file structure with the modded 1.2.5 client jar file.
Each time the client starts is prompts with the "New update available" message to prompt to upgrade. Is there any way to turn this off? I'd hate for one of my kids to click "Yes" and blow away the client version they need to play on our server.
