Im having a big problem today i was playing Minecraft online i then logged off and closed the launcher. and 2 minutes later tried to log back on and it says "log in failed". I tried again a couple of times with the same results. so i then went to minecraft.net and it says "oops unknown username or password". but when i go to mojang.com and put in the same email address and password that i use on minecraft.net and minecraft launcher i am able to log in. i don't know whats wrong I've changed the password still not letting me log in it minecraft.net or the launcher.
Any help is appreciated thanks in advance.
Update Java to the latest version. If your system is 32bit install the x86 version. If your system is 64bit, firstly install the x64 version followed by the x86.
Delete the lastlogin file in the .minecraft directory.
Restart your computer
Thanks for your response but it didn't work. i just don't get it why can i log into mojang.com with my minecraft email address and password but it says its the wrong username or password when i try it on minecraft.net. minecraft.net and mojang.com are the same right if i change the password on mojang i would have to use the same password on minecraft.net website right. So if thats true no one else has gotten a hold of my email address and password because i still can long onto mojang and change my password.
