SOLVED!! Read Post #12 For The Fix!



Ok, i have No mods installed, i have force updated Minecraft, reinstalled java, AND uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft. But it dtill does this:

the worlds will not save! everything i do just gets rolled back to the original world! my location and inventory stays the same, but all the blocks i placed are GONE! this is getting really annoying because i cant do anything on minecraft

I am running a WindowsXP Xeon, This doesnt happen on my Windows 7 laptop

Please get a mod to read this, i have found lots of topics on this and no one is helping them. i paid for this game and now i cant play it! please, please, PLEASE help

Cracked versions don't save.

I'm having the same problem. I tried rolling back to 1.2.5 and everything is fine now. It's unfortunate that 1.3.2 has this glitch. But try rolling back and see if it fixes the problem.

I'm having the same problem. I have no idea what to do. I bought it from Minecraft.net, as most people do. Is this a bug that comes with 1.3.2, or is it something that I've done, and no one else has this problem?

No it doesnt save. And as I previously stated he should revert back to 1.3.1(havent try'd) or 1.2.5(have try'd).

I'm having this problem too. I attempted going back to 1.3.1 and the bug still happened.

EDIT: Attempted to join a server and I am unable to. Anyone else not able to? This could be a reason why we can't save.

Ya. I tried rolling back to 1.3.1 too. The bug is still there for me as well. 1.2.5 DOESN'T have to bug. I'm going to try the latest snapshot to see if it has the bug or not.

EDIT: When i spawned I grabed everything in the bonus chest. Then cut down a tree with the wooden axe. Grabed the torches from around the chest and destroyed a dirst block. I saved and quit to title. Loaded; the tree wood did not come back. The leaves i did not destroy. And everything else came back(torches, dirt, and all the stuff in the chest). Then I cut down another tree with my hands. That tree came back as well as the torches again. Then i cut down the same tree with the axe and i saved quit to title. I was falling. AndThe tree came back. This all happened in SNAPSHOT 12w36a.

Someone should contact Mojang. Or Jeb himself

I HAVE FOUND A FIX!

Run it in compatibility mode!
Right click on minecraft(desktop icon)>compatibility>check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'>Windows 95.

This is for windows xp. But it should be similar for windows 7.

Thanks for that I tested it to make sure it worked. I placed four wood and then save and exit. And then went back on and they weren't there. Then I tried compatibility with windows 95 and then the wood was back. So it works.

This is not working for me i dont know why but it really doesnt ive been haveing this problem for a while ._. its making me really not like playing minecraft anymore :\

Also guy. Just got word that Minecraft now needs 4 gigs of ram to run properly. Which is an inconvenience to all of us. Try getting more ram guys. I'm gonna wait for a new pc.
